As part of their Lustrum Week, the Rotterdam STAR Study Association, organized a splashy conference at the Erasmus University, with prominent speakers giving their view on socially responsible entrepreneurship, and how to make profit out of ‘good things’.
Among the speakers, were: Wouter Bos (Dutch Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Finance);
Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish (Founder of Sekem, and winner of the ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’ (Right Livelihood Award));
Ben Verwaayen (CEO of British Telecom);
Antony Burgmans (former CEO of Unilever);
Alexander Rinnooy Kan (chairman of the Dutch Social-Economic Board);
